Ars Onirica was started in Italy during the year 2003, with the idea of creating a sound influenced by bands such as Katatonia, Opeth and Novembre. After the release of a self-produced demo in 2004 the band broke up and in 2018 Alessandro Sforza bring it back as a solo project releasing the album “I: COLD” (Solitude Productions/ Badmoodmanmusic). The first full-length album represents a junction between melodic doom metal, black metal and dark metal. This wide set of music components creates a unique mixture of the mood of the classical groups of the 90’s with the modern dark scene features appreciated by the fans of the genre.
