With an upbringing in College Park, MD, family roots in Jamaica and Florida, and relocation to Charlotte, NC in her teenage years, Sstedi’s cultured roots give flavor and individuality to her music that is recognized in songs like, "All the Waves" with over 1 million streams and her collaborations with Reach Records, Afro gospel artist, Limoblaze on "Life is Easy" and "Wait for It". Her faith is evident throughout her songs, and her approach is fashioned in a way that listeners can relate to. She brings us into her journey on her remix to “How Do You Love Me”, allowing listeners to understand that the faith walk isn't always a cakewalk. You can hear her transparency on “Tears of Gold”, and she inspires us to remember the love and goodness of God in her feature on Wyld’s “Brighter”.
