Bryan Cheru is an Artist, producer and songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Bryan started his musical journey as a producer at a young age, discovering his talent and passion for creating music and writing songs. Using Trapsoul elements with moody R&B as his core sound, he is not afraid to venture out and creating new sounds like that of his own genre, Rage&b. He is a multi-talented and diverse artist and has been perfecting his craft for years. Bryan released his first few songs on SoundCloud back in 2017/2018 in which he gained thousands of fans and streams across the globe. His main audience being in the USA, Canada, and South Africa, marking the start of Bryan Cheru’s Career. Bryan Released his first album/mixtape in 2019 called Polaroids, which did over 140 000 streams on Spotify, Bryan has gained over 700 000 streams across Apple Music, Spotify & SoundCloud Independently. Bryan has worked with many artists such as Indigo Stella, Mosa, Lyfe Harris, Blxckie, Dee Koala, DazeOnEast, JWOODS, Phora and many more! Pioneering a different sound in South Africa, Bryan has been working closely with various artist across South Africa and in the USA such as 24hrs, Maglera Doe Boy, etc. Not only has Bryan Established a solid working environment but has also ventured into branding and owning his own record label, OWNMYOWNRECORDS. OWNMYOWNRECORDS is a South African based digital space and label founded in 2019. The label currently represents Bryan Cheru as it’s only artist.
