Profusion philosophy is to combine the mediterranean and georgian cultures by using the rock as a unifying musical fabric. In their songs, wide georgian instrumental and choral parts are merged together with the melodic and harmonic flavours of the italian rock tradition. American progressive rock and virtuoso instrumental parts are also important elements of the musical language of the band. Profusion was formed in the summer of 2002 by Gionatan Caradonna and Vladimer Sichinava. After many changes in the lineup during the years, today Profusion are Davide Pepi (guitars), Duccio Pellati (bass), Gionatan Caradonna (keyboards), Vladimer Sichinava (drums) and Mattia Mattei (voice).
