Biyografi

I am ARRA, a Romanian-Palestinian living in Romania. I was born in Romania, lived in Palestine for 10 years and then, Romania became my second home. My music is born from the love for both of my cultures and from the belief that people should be united and love each other, instead of fighting cultural and territorial wars. Having a double culture allowed me to make from my music a mix between these two worlds, the European-Balkan and the Arabic one. All my songs are in Arabic language, but the toplines have European influences and the instrumentals as well. I made my debut in music in 2008, when I won Megastar-Romania contest and from there, my passion for music encouraged me to pursue a career in the music industry. My wish has always been to find the perfect recipe for an oriental music to be loved also by other cultures and to bring in the same time a new and modern sound in the oriental music. Until today I released several songs and constantly worked in the studio, searching for my own style and perfecting my vision. My music is a special mix of oriental, pop and trap and was heavily inspired by Michael Jackson’s unique style and professionalism, visible in all aspects of his art: music, dance, image and styling. I was also inspired by other amazing artists, such as Amr Diab, Tamer Hosni, Michael Buble, Enrique Iglesias, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet boys, Prince and many others.
