Three brothers based in Tokyo, Japan via Vancouver, Canada- Nico, Kai, and Kio, assemble together to become the band Gliiico. Full of flavor, nostalgic yet new, the three brother’s each individually claim their right into the creative world. Nico is a multi-faceted artist, recently directing commercials and designing sound for AMBUSH, Nike, Moët & Chandon, etc., while producing for acclaimed artist bülow among others. Kai and Kio are highly sought fashion models for shows, lookbooks, and magazines from well-known brands such as Sasquatchfabrix, FACETASM, AURALEE and sacai. Inspired by a variety of artists from childhood to Kanye West, The Strokes, Tatsuro Yamashita, and Finger 5, they have already established a new genreless sound with a worldwide scale. After a hiatus from releasing music to the world, they come back with a new single “Dealer feat. Grace Aimi” and a debut EP scheduled to follow for this summer. Nico、Kai、Kioの実の3兄弟からなる3人組バンド、カナダのバンクーバー出身で現在は東京を拠点に構えるGliiico。 NicoはこれまでにAMBUSH、Nike、Moët & ChandonなどのCM、キャンペーン楽曲を担当する他、bülowなどの楽曲プロデュースとしても活躍しているマルチアーティスト。Kai、Kioの2人もSasquatchfabrix、FACETASM、AURALEE、sacaiなど名だたるブランドのショーやルックでモデルを務めている。 Gliiicoが奏でる音は唯一無二の新しさと、懐かしさを兼ね備えた楽曲になっている。 彼らが幼少期から馴染みのある、Kanye West、The Strokesから山下達郎、そしてFinger 5まで多様なアーティストから影響を受け、既にワールドワイドなスケール感でジャンルレスな新しいサウンドを確立している。 久々の新曲「Dealer feat. Grace Aimi」のリリースより本格始動し今夏にはデビューEPも予定している。
