Saafi Brothers mystical journey began in 1996 when, inspired by his travels to India, Gabriel Le Mar started an artist community project with Frankfurt-based producers Michael Kohlbecker and Groovetitan in order to research unknown spiritual flight zones in exotic club dub sound environments. Simon Ghahary signed them for BlueRoomReleased and in 1997 their debut "Mystic Cigarettes" came out . With the today classic psydub album they immediately placed Saafi Brothers among the artists of the electronic ambient scene. Now, 23 years and six albums later, the remix album of their debut is released on british producer legend Youth's label "Liquid Sound Design Records UK" and remixed by Gabriel Le Mar, Eternal Basement, Ajja, Bluetech, Braincell, DM-Theory, The Delta, Jam El Mar, Living Light, Backstage Gurus, The Irresistible Force, Youth, any more.
