Muri (Muriel Gonzales) is a violinist-singer-songwriter from Manila, Philippines. Known as the violinist for six-piece indie Manila-based band The Ransom Collective, she has embarked on a solo project releasing 3 singles last year. Recognised for her signature melodic violin phrases in The Ransom Collective’s hit songs such as Fools, Settled, Tides, and recently 3am, Muriel has since established her own artistry as a singer-songwriter. With her soothing voice, memorable violin phrases, and unique song arrangements, Muriel creates a unique style combining her indie and soul influences. As the latest artist to join Warner Music Philippines, Muriel joins Warner’s growing roster of global Filipino artists based abroad. Building on her following in the Philippines and her involvement in the Paris music scene, the stage is set for her to grow her audience in the Philippines and Europe.
