Throwdown stands as a testament to sheer force of will, issuing no-holds-barred anthems of anger, personal empowerment, old-school hardcore style defiance and adherence to the rhythmic power of aggressive heavy metal. A cornerstone of the New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, Throwdown earned accolades from Metal Hammer, who likened the stomp of Venom & Tears (2007) to Pantera. Revolver Magazine called them part of "The Future of Metal" around the same time. Intolerance (2014) combines the massive production punch of the moody, sludgy and powerfully diverse eOne masterpiece Deathless (2009), which spawned the Sirius XM staples “This Continuum” and “The Scythe,” with the focused resolve of Throwdown’s genre-classic-filled back catalog. Throwdown has toured all over the world, as part of Ozzfest (2004) and Vans Warped Tour (2007) and with celebrated genre titans like Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Machine Head, Black Dahlia Murder, Hatebreed, In Flames, and Fear Factory. Vendetta (2005) set a standard for unrelenting aggression, the product of bandleader Dave Peters’ knack for supreme riff-mastery and authentically impassioned vocal delivery. The album was produced and mixed by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Demon Hunter), who returned to mix Deathless and collaborated again on Intolerance. Haymaker (2003) is a genre classic, giving the straight edge community a new rallying cry with “Forever.”
