Biyografi

Sughn (pronounced as SUN) is a diverse singer/songwriter, born in California and raised in Houston, TX. Originally beginning her musical journey as part of an indie-folk duo known as “Sun and Moon”, she embraced the ever-changing cycles of life her artistry represented and phased into a solo artist shining as Sughn. Carrying that passion and talent for creating original content into her solo career, she was quickly recognized by a local studio for her individuality and ingenuity. She was able to assist in helping other artists create music in exchange for using their equipment to further develop her musical skills. 
 During that time, she co-produced and provided vocals on multiple artist's tracks. Producing her own records and mastering the tonality of her voice gave Sughn the ability to shift between R&B, Alternative, and Folk in an effortless and fluid style. 
 The debut single, “Noosehouse”, caught the interest of industry peers such as Sharon Van Etten, A$AP Ferg, and more as the song continues to be well-received. In 2020, Sughn released her self-produced conceptual project titled “tape in a loop”, showcasing an ethereal opaque spin on indie music as it stands today. This project propelled her into the Houston creative scene as she premiered the coinciding short film for her new fans on Westheimer and headlined her own concert downtown. Sughn is now on a single run as she works to complete her debut studio album.
