If you’re a fan of rock music, or the grunge scene in particular, you’ll find that Rotten Apple - an underground band from California’s own Central Valley - is right up your alley. Having found a way to bring back the 90’s, this trio has seamlessly blended today’s music with that of yesterdays. On guitar, you’ll find none other than Timothy Trujillo - giving us guitar riffs and solos that can only be compared to that of the greats. On drums, they have Ben Osborne - an angsty teen whose beats will surely pump up your spirits. On bass and vocals, you’ll find the talented Gabriel Stoner-Reveles - who can not only give a bass line that’ll rock your world, but vocals that you can’t find anywhere else. The band started in 2019, releasing their debut album “Quiet” at the very end of January, 2020, which held a total of 8 original songs. Since then, the band has gone on to release “Quarantine Sessions” - an acoustic EP made up of four songs - and most recently, their hit singles Diseased, Grey, and Ashamed. The talented trio is currently said to be working on an all new album that bites a little harder than their previous works. When asked about this upcoming album, guitarist Timothy Trujillo says “This is a new era of Rotten Apple. This album is like if Alice in Chains made In Utero” The album is said to be releasing by the end of 2023. Their biggest inspirations hail from the 90’s, with bands like Alice In Chains, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, Soundgarden, etc.
