Biyografi

Born in İstanbul, Emre Önbayraktar, after 9 years of education in Konservatory of İstanbul Municipality, Piano Department, being a musician, he is also an architect, graduated from İstanbul Yıldız Technical University. Along his professional musical career, he served the music business as an arranger, composer, lyricist and songwriter, producer and as a singer. He has been awarded in various music festivals inside and outside. With his band Feyz Trio, they performed his compositions and experimental pieces of traditional Turkish and Classical music, which led him through an Ethnic- Jazz journey, with the great band Hijazz Hicaz, drew the attention of the great producer Arif Mardin, been supported for attending İstanbul Jazz Festival by him. This project became the pioneer for it’s followers, in which Önbayraktar’s arrangement for Segâh Saz Semaî of traditional Ottoman composer Nayî Osman Dede took place and performed by Budapest Synphonic Orchestra. Yirmili (1996), Onlar ve Diğerleri (2006), Varlığın Yokluğunda(2016) are his 3 rock albumes and he has released 2 singles from Ada Music Company.
