Biyografi

Sîmir Rûdan was born in Cizre. He moved to Ankara to have education in Hacettepe University. Music became more important for him while he was studying at the University. Because he has already started to play instruments and taken the stage at some venues. However, as soon as his interest has moved to western music side, he started to deal with the guitar. When he realised that he has interest for classical music, he intended to move on his education at a conservatoire but he abandoned his dream because of the fact that there weren’t good conditions enough for him. Singing Arya in J.S. Bach Polyphonic Chorus, subordinated to Faculty of Fine Arts at Ankara University, enriched his music perspective. After he went back to Cizre in 2005, this time he maintained his passion for music mostly on production. He published his first album Bi Çîrokî, of which the whole music, lyrics and arrangements belongs to himself. When Bi Çîrokî was published, it is chosen as the best Kurdish album of the year in the website called Hawarnet. He took part by singing the song, Berfin in a combined album called Peşk, in which lots of musicians gathered, in 2015. Sîmir Rudan has been living in Istanbul since 2015. Both he works as a psychological counselor in a school, and maintains his musical studies. He published his new album, Kevî on December the 27th, 2019.
