With 8 albums released since 1997, the swiss rockers of Sideburn certainly know how to rock and it's not by chance that they impressed enough people in Hollywood to succeed in placing several of their tracks on movie trailers or soundtracks few years ago: 20 Century Fox Studios: 24 Hours (with Kiether Sutherland) - Season 8 - track ''Six feet under Open Road Films : Trailer of the movie ''Hit & Run'' (with Bradley Cooper) - track ''Knockin at the wrong door 20th Century Fox Studios : ''The Wolverine'' released in July - (with Hugh Jackmann) - song ''Six feet under'' But their strong points remain the stage, having played with the biggest bands of the industry like: Kiss, Motörhead, Def Leppard, Gotthard, Airbourne, Dio, Krokus, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, Uriah Heep, Rose Tattoo, Doro, Y&T, Slade & more...., as well as about fifteen concerts in the mythical hall of the Z7 in Pratteln. In 2022 Sideburn will celebrate 25 years of music and will release their 9th album « Fired up » which will be released on the 10th of June. The follow-up to 2017's "#EIGHT" has been recorded live (for the music) early July 2021 at DA-MF Studio in Lausanne (Switzerland), the platinum winning engineer & producer Dennis Ward, who has previously worked with bands such as Angra, Krokus, Tesla, Unisonic, House of Lords, Pink Cream 69 & more... has handled the recording, mixing, mastering & production. The famous american cover book artist Ivan Zann has taken care of the artwork of the album.
