Born in New York City, raised in Caracas, based in Los Angeles DJ 13 aka Johnny Flecha is known to be the founder of venezuelan Hip Hop. With pioneer acts such as La Corte, Trece, Vagos y Maleantes, 3 Duenos, Venezuela Subterranea, El Arka, Radio shows like Zona Peligrosa, Radio Bazuka, his TV show Rap Zona and the box office hit movie Secuestro Express helped build the foundation of what is known today as south american Hip Hop culture. This DJ/Beatmaker/MC/Producer/Actor/Podcaster/Conceptual artist is set to open new frontiers in latin american urban culture for years to come.He also coined the term "Salso" as his own personal style of music, a blend of vintage latin rhythms with heavy hip hop drums.
