Lyricist, producer and musician Abidaz, born Abiel Ghebrehiwet, is a Grammy nominated artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. Having worked with music for over 20 years, he has proven his talents many times over. Basing all of his music on his immense lyrical mind, Abidaz will always makes sure every song released has a clear concept and story. 
 Abidaz started out rapping in english under the name Chess in the rapduo Chapee N Chess. Influenced by lyricists like Rakim, he makes sure his mind, thoughts and life experiences come to life in his music. To understand Abidaz you have to listen to his lyrics. However this does not imply that Abidaz only raps, quite the opposite, Abidaz is versatile in that all of his projects showcase his creative expressions over many different genres. Making him a true artist. 
 Awarded for best solo artist and best music video(for song “Råknas” in album “In & ut”) at Kingsize Awards, followed by winning P3 Gold for best Hip-hop/Soul.
