Coining his rap name from his hometown of San Diego, California and relocating to Atlanta at the age of 7, Dan Diego is one of the rising stars in the city of Atlanta, GA. With music playing a vital role in his life at a young age beginning to actively record at 19, Diego uses his music as an outlet to inspire those who celebrate the positive blessings of life, while remembering where they came from. Keeping the battles of adversity in the fuel tank as motivation, his work ethic and dedication to his craft has led him to work with artists & producers like Richie Souf, Wheezy, 30Roc, Big Fruit as well as Kalan Frfr, Rob $tone K.Camp, Sy Ari Da Kid, OG Maco, Kid Ink, Rich The Kid, Mike Zombie,J $tash, Ty Dolla Sign & many more. In 2012, Dan made his debut on Livemixtapes.comwith his first mixtape, "96 Atlanta", featuring Rich Espy. In 2013, he released his "Straight Jackin" mixtape series in which he took popular records and added his own seasoning to them. Along with performing during Birthday Bash 19, Dan Diego released his hit single "Down Bad" on the Slumlords mixtape and received an astounding 30,000,000 plays.
