Not much cuts through the thick summer fog in the frigid Outer Sunset District of San Francisco- except for music spilling from one unassuming garage door a few blocks from the ocean. This is where the frontmen-brother duo of The Quilters grew up, and a landmark for the same local band that once hosted driveway shows during lockdown, who are now a staple of the San Francisco music scene. Their sound is "West Coast Americana"- a recipe that calls for equal parts classic rock of their parents' generation, and progressive indie-folk. Their lyrics are cheerful and empathetic- like an old friend calling you to recount a story you almost forgot. The Quilters' debut EP 'Hard to Explain' can be streamed everywhere fall 2022.
