Tom Lee-Richards is a New Zealand alt-folk musician living between Mangawhai NZ and Belo Horizonte, Brazil. His solo project "compels with an emotive vocal presence and meticulously layered production, where atmospheric guitars, mellow keys and cinematic textures converge" - Obscure sound. Currently exploring a full band sound, Tom has just released the new E.P ‘Spinning for Shape’ created with local Brazilian musicians and Producer Leonardo Marques. In 2018 Tom launched his debut folk and alt-pop album 'Out of the Oddness' - a journey through themes of separation and discovery. Following his single 'Beside You' featured on BBC Introducing and MTV Upload of the week, the 'Out of the Oddness' music video was premiered by Under The Radar NZ.
