The Danish singer/songwriter Echo Me has played several hundred shows in Europe and US, and thereby he is an experienced entertainer that can engage with any audience. He has a unique voice that is at once strong and vulnerable. The songwriting is catchy, melancholic, personal and yet inviting. Jesper Madsen is the musician behind Echo Me. He grew up on the countryside surrounded by fields and forests, and music became a haven for him. He wrote his first songs at the age of 10 using lyrics from his parents record collection. In 2011 Echo Me gave up his apartment, packed his first album and equipment on a trolley and toured large parts of Europe and US. His travels got him a record deal, a TV session on a rooftop in New York and a mugging in Barcelona. In 2014 he moved to Berlin, replaced the trolley with a bandbus, and went on a long tour with the album "Towards the Sunset". Ultimately it drained the band of energy, so he went on alone and the 3rd album “Sleep is key” from 2018 was a fresh start. In 2021 Echo Me started a collaboration with the austrian label og publisher “welovemelodies”, and the last year he has been traveling round Germany, Austria and Sweden, to write songs for his 4th album to be released in 2023. The new single Proud Already is written in an old military building in Berlin with the electronic producer Moritz Limmer and the turkish RnB singer Dilek Sahin. Effortlessly they melted it all together to create a modern and urban indie folk track.
