It's taken four whole summers to understand my Christianity
A lot of trials and tribulations really hammered me
And if I never learned through the pain it'd be a tragedy
I've come familiar with many principalities
I've seen the struggle through my friends and through my family and gradually
I've learned what's been following the back of me
Head on a swivel I've got many spirits mad at me
Some people I thought had my back were really back stabbing me
Four summers to fully understand the value of the cross
But till I die I'll never fully understand what I've lost
Through my sins and all the times the line was crossed
I'll understand when I'm judged after sleeping in a box
But till then I'm tryna live it up and give it all I got
Build my house not on sand but something solid as a rock
Sow and receive harvest is more than money in the pot
I don't give my life for man a living sacrifice for God
Eyes closed but my spirit man is following the rod
Judging by a mans action if he's on it or he's not
We're the salt of the earth but can't be salty that's a lot
Gotta bring the flavour without being bitter about a loss
Even if I'm tryna love someone with two faces
Who needs straightening like new braces
All I know is that the Lord can help a man stuck in two places
Making sure that we don't trip like some shoe laces
Now I understand what this new grace is
How my sins were taken out of me and moved bases

We couldn't live within the law so we switched places
I don't live for the money or to be famous
I'm here to show the love of God as I stand shameless
Cause He paid for my sins now I stand blameless
But the cost of freedom it weren't painless
Made in His image so I need humility
Everyday the mirror clears to enhance symmetry
To be like Jesus Christ is my only simile
And I know the world will hate on this natural synergy
Ever since I got baptised I've been living differently
One day at a time with the Holy Trinity
Bring a buzz through His light this year
That will be so clear that His word stands to infinity
Even when I die I will still live forever
The gang suffers violence we fight back with pressure
Using our faith that's been given with measure
I'm tryna increase it to change up the weather
The way Elijah prayed to God for the rain
In a world that's cold I wanna bring the flame
And everybody that I meet will never stay the same
All by the Lord Jesus Christ the only name
