Undeniably one of a kind, MOBO Award-winning Still Shadey is a multifaceted rapper-songwriter and electric performer. Raised in the town which would birth some of our most distinct acts, he too will find himself recognised as one of Croydon’s precious gems. British born, with Nigerian descent, the Rapper's reputation was built from transparent and thought-provoking lyricism, serving fans with wholesome sounds covering an array of topic matters: including trauma, purpose, and faith. Spontaneous, and passionate in energy, Shadey brings his music to life when he performs, thriving off creating real moments with fans every time they meet. With numerous singles, EPs, and projects, the artist’s recent 'How to kill a Caterpillar' summarises well the ability and formidable depth existing within his creativity. In early 2022, Shadey announced his first ever tour, set to hit Gothenburg, Glasgow, Manchester, and London. Since then Shadey has been awarded 3 award for recent works. The complexities of his mind were shaped in the streets of South London, Croydon, where the artist would be exposed to a life of violence, injustice, and criminal exploitation. These unfortunate themes would wrestle with his Nigerian-Christian childhood roots, naturally creating a conflict at a very early age. A journey of trauma, healing, self-discovery and purpose will place our Still Shadey at centre stage, weaponising the microphone as his source of expression.
