 (Die-Oh-Nee-Jah) Fueled by candid chaos and unfiltered honesty, Dionysia continually brings to life the stories and experiences that unify us all. Dionysia’s 2014 gritty debut album “Antics” earned the group worldwide recognition with the soulful ballad “Carried Away”, amassing over 2 million streams to date on Spotify. Continuing to receive rave reviews for their eclectic style and genuine song-writing, Dionysia followed up with the release of a 6-song EP titled “The Breach” in 2016. Building off the momentum of their organically grown fanbase, the group quickly made a splash in their home base of Boston, selling out 5 consecutive shows in 2018-2019. Later in 2019, Dionysia released their second full-length album “Catalyze”. The dynamic repertoire of songs on “Catalyze” quickly attracted the attention of major medias such as NPR Music and AlexRainBirdMusic - both featuring songs from the new record. The success of “Catalyze” earned the group two Boston Music Award nominations, including “Unsigned Artist of the Year” and “Alt-Indie Artist of the Year”. Dionysia went on to sell out their album release show at The Sinclair in Boston over six weeks in advance, and embarked on a nationwide tour to follow suit. In 2020, Dionysia will continue touring in support of “Catalyze”, while always finessing their brand of eclectic, genre-bending music.
