Amycanbe were an eclectic unique pop rock band from Italy, guided by the magic voice of Francesca Amati Active from 2007, upon their first release and tours in UK, with the album “Being A Grown-Up Sure Is Complicated”, made totally 3 albums and 3 eps so far, all sung in English except last EP “Plata O Plomo” sung in Spanish, as an experimental soundtrack work, born for a theatrical show, around the story of drug kingping Pablo Escobar. Quite eclectic in the style and approch, Amycanbe have been using to mix up different arts such as photography, literature, fashion, drama and cinematography, and had success placing their music in TV Shows, Fashion campaigns, Major and Indie Movies. Their cinematic music is well rapresented by “Buffalos”, their most popular song, a gentle dreamy triphop track, made up even more open and atmospheric by the great mix of Mark Plati (producer better known for his work with David Bowie) “Buffalos” is part of “Mountain Whales” album, released also in US in 2013 as a vinyl special edition by Feedbands.com. “Wolf” is their last LP, a very electronic dreamy album, succefully acclaimed in Italy. 30th April 2021 Songs We Need: The Best Of Amycanbe is out. Amycanbe stopped when Marco Trinchillo sadly passed away in his sleep aged 41, due to cardiac arrest, just after completing Ubu, a side project with other Amycanbe's founder Mattia Mercuriali along with singers and musicians as guests
