The Wheel and The Hammond were formed in Córdoba, Spain. In January, 2012, they recorded their first demo, The Twath EP, which won several local and regional awards that same year and the next. Adding a good fan base in this emerging stage, they prepare their debut album. Fragments of a Blank Face (Bmg, 2014) consists of 11 songs and was released on May 30, 2014. Trying to make a qualitative leap for the second album, by the end of 2015 they begin to work with new compositions with the well-known producer Manuel Colmenero (Vetusta Morla, Eladio y Los Seres Queridos). These new songs are recorded at Sonobox Studio in Madrid, between October and November 2016. After this long period focused on composition and recording, the band signs a new publishing contract with Warner/Chappell Music (Warner Music Group). Wooden (BlankFace Records, 2017) is the new studio album. A work between the energetic and the emotional, that shows a sound with roots in the alternative rock.
