LaTheGoat is a songwriter and lyricist from Tampa, Florida, who was discovered by Jermaine Dupri in 2020. LA's first single "8 Bands" hit with fans, so JD brought him to Def Jam, added Rick Ross to the remix, and sparked the start of a something big for the young talent. LaTheGoat followed up with "You Wouldn't Believe Me" and "Bounce It" featuring Big Freedia, both produced by Jermaine Dupri. In November, he dropped his 813 Day project, and is preparing more new music for 2022.
