Singer, songwriter, record label co-owner and model TYSON was born in London to a deeply musical family. Spending much of her upbringing on the road, she settled in Stockholm, Spain, and New York, before returning to London. TYSON’s accolades include being named Breakthrough Act of the Year 2022 at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards, collaborating with a multitude of talented artists including Joy Orbison and Ezra Collective, soundtracking Stella McCartney’s SS23 runway show in Paris, modelling for Bottega Veneta, joining Sudan Archives on tour and performing/speaking at a host of festivals worldwide. Her emotive vocal stylings range from stylishly soulful to experimentally boundless. She worked with producer/childhood friend Oscar Scheller (Shygirl, Ashnikko) on her debut single and the pair continued to work together on her 'Pisces Problems' EP. Mixed by Kieran Hebden, the EP was released on her own label LMP Recordings to support from Annie Mac, Benji B, Lauren Laverne, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jamz Supernova, Evening Standard and Dazed & Confused and the Guardian called her One To Watch. She has featured on Joy Orbison’s 'Born Slipping', Dean Blunt’s “A_X” and worked with Leon Vynehall, Lord Tusk, Coby Sey, Delilah Holliday, CKTRL , Albertina, and Ezra Collective.
