Dubbed as “the most refreshing songster” in the archipelago, Elexter Jr is an artist from the beautiful Solomon Islands who is not only fast becoming a household name in his country but also in nearby countries, thanks to his exciting music style. For an artist who grew up idolizing big names like Justin Bieber and James Arthur, it is hard to miss the international charisma that his music possesses when listening to his songs. Elexter’s music is centered on island reggae but recently he experimented with afro flavored songs, much to the delight of his fans. His first single was “Honey”. Released in 2019, “Honey” did turn some heads when it was released but perhaps "Lo Honiara" turned quite a lot when it was dropped in 2021. “Lo Honiara” has since attracted remakes of all sorts by DJs around the world. Tiktok videos of the song by his die-hard fans helped took the song further to distant lands. The quiet-spoken Solomon Islander has extended his arms and collaborated with many artists in the Solomon Islands. “PISISI” is one of the latest singles that he collaborated on with a fellow Solomon Islander, Stegga. With the attention that “PISISI” is gaining so far, it will soon dethrone “Lo Honiara” as one of his best singles yet. A 5-Track EP album, entitled “Still Feel You” was released by Elexter in 2021, and with the recent success of “PISISI”, his fans should expect a second EP Album anytime soon.
