Totsy has a unique sound that will leave people saying, "Wait...what is this?!" Yes, folks, it's a new sound that has all the young kids dancing and the old ones limping to a beat. Totsy has coined the phrase burlesque pop to describe their music, which is influenced by the likes of Django Reinhart, Caravan Palace, and Emerald. They are an 8-piece band consisting of a stand-up bass, guitar, piano, drums, lead singer, two back-up singers, and a utility musician (trombone, violin, guitar, mandolin). You may have heard Totsy’s music on TV and in film. Their song Boom Boom Room was in Mr. Right with Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. Their music has also appeared in Twelve Days of Christmas, How Sarah Got Her Wings, Girls Guide to Depravity, The Young and the Restless, Scrubbing In, and more. Totsy is in the studio working hard on more music. Their first album, Red Balloon, was a smash hit! Their newest single, Automatic, was released in February 2022. Totsy is a band that proudly lives outside the box and welcomes the weirdo in all of us.
