OZKI is a dynamic musical duo comprised of brothers Gaberiel and AJ Paese Si'a. Both born in New Zealand but spent their childhood in Australia and Samoa, where they were first introduced to music. Forced to perform in front of guests at a young age, the brothers quickly developed a love for music that has stayed with them ever since. Inspired by their upbringing and cultural influences, the brothers decided to form a band and initially named it OZKI Band. The name is a combination of "OZ" from Australia and "KI" from kiwi, reflecting their place of birth and upbringing. They released their debut album 'O'u Mafaufauga' after settling in the tropics, which featured standout tracks like "La'u Pele Ea" and "Hardworking Lady." Since then, OZKI has released multiple singles and built a loyal fanbase that stretches from the United States to Samoa, American Samoa, Australia, and New Zealand. The band's unique sound blends traditional Samoan instrumentation with modern production, resulting in a sound that is both fresh and familiar. After a hiatus, OZKI are back with a new musical journey and a rebrand that reflects their growth and evolution as artists.
