Spanish singer/songwriter Sarria Francisco González was born in Alicante in 1959. Displaying musical talent at a young age, he began performing in front of live audiences when he was in his teens. He then started to get noticed at local festivals and talent shows. The young singer managed to attract the attention of Camilo Sesto, who produced his 1981 debut album. In the same year he achieved fame thanks to his win in the OTI Song Festival with "Latino." In the following years Francisco recorded a series of hit records, but his career declined in the second half of the '80s. In the '90s, he also began appearances as an opera singer, and he again won the OTI Festival in 1992 with "A Dónde Voy Sin Ti" (Where Do I Go Without You). His popularity rose again in 2011 when he played the villain in the film Torrente 4: Lethal Crisis and participated in the game show Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face Is Familiar). ~ Aneet Nijjar, Rovi
