A sister and brother band who loves to tour, sample tequila, buy old people’s clothes, write, make shapes and crank 90’s bangers for days. Consisting of Australian siblings Esther and Will Henderson, Gimme Gimme’s music is inspired by the duo's addiction to Rage in the 90s, their mum’s favorite artists like Sade and Supertramp, and their own love for current artists, Still Woozy, Van Hunt, Solange, Frank Ocean, and Tame Impala. In late 2019 they recorded their debut EP ‘Taylor St’ with Berlin-based producer @Tim Granbacka and featuring LA-based artist Van Hunt. Mixed and mastered by one of Melbourne’s finest musical engineers Nick Herrera (Hiatus Kaiyote, Slowfade) at The Grove, in Coburg. For 2022 they are set to release their sophomore EP 'Dessert for Dinner' via Havêa Records. Since their debut EP the playful sound of Gimme Gimme has evolved into a more soulful and mature direction, while still keeping the tongue-in-cheek family vibes intact. The light-hearted summer tune ‘Day Drinking’ will be the first of 3 Singles. Esther Henderson is part of Don't Thank Me, Spank Me!, while Will Henderson is part of The Lips, The Zap Show, VERSACE BOYS, The Tins, Hektisch Kunst, The Milkshakes, The Conscious Pilots and Los Monos Flamenco.
