Ricky Simmonds and Stephen Jones form the backbone of Lustral. Together, they have also been the driving force behind major acts such as The Space Brothers, Chakra, Oxygen, The Realm and Ascension Since the mid-nineties they have released over 100 singles with independent and major labels including Manifesto, Virgin, Perfecto, Armada, MCA, 3Beat, Ultra and Warner Brothers. They have had 13 top 40 hits in the UK, and their songs have featured on compilations that have sold in excess of 25 million units worldwide. Lustral’s debut single “Everytime” was released on Hooj Choons in 1997, and they have continued to release singles under this project name ever since, including two albums - Deepest Darkest Secrets and Empathy.
