Biyografi

Binar is Heikal Mohammad. The years of music started for him early when he was in high school just as other teenagers at that time. Nothing serious came up after that. Several years passed by. Heikal graduated as an Artist. He graduated from a private University in Bandung, ID, as Bachelor of Arts majoring in Fine Arts. He was participating in a couple of popular exhibitions around the world, such as Art Jakarta (ID), Nodoccs Festival (VEN), Buenos Aires University Arts Festival (ARG), and many others. But then, up until a specific year, something changed. 2019 in Cipete was his turning point. It was 2019 when he finally started to write songs seriously. It was that year too when his passion in songwriting appeared in public, he co-write one of Putra Timur’s single, Merengkuh Mesra. He found it right, writing songs to express any messy things and feelings on his head. It was also 2019 when he wrote another couple of songs, at that time he decided to release it. Then, there’s Binar, his musical project as a songwriter. In Binar, Heikal asked his fellow singer/musician to sing in this project, although he’s also singing in a few songs. Together with Alit Djarot and Daniel Hasudungan from Mafia Pemantik Qolbu -an alternative rock band from Jakarta- as his producers, in June 2020, the first song as a single was released, Bilal Indrajaya took part as singer in Harum. A mini album which consists of five songs called Jalan Rindang Dua Tiga has been released.
