Pop/R&B singer, Julia Carlucci, is ready to become the artist she was always meant to be. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada by an Italian father and Ecuadorian mother, Julia began singing at the age of 12 and has been honing her craft for over fifteen years. Like in many Hispanic households, Julia spent every Saturday doing chores to her mother’s soundtrack of Salsa and Merengue while her father introduced her to R&B and Soul. Enamored with the piano and a zealous interest for writing poetry, Julia’s two passions would come together in high school when she started to experiment with songwriting. Over the years, she continued to develop her writing and explore different genres with the goal of finding her voice as an artist. After moving to Los Angeles in 2018, Julia’s experiences performing for the industry’s elite would transform her life and artistry for the better. “I was so comfortable singing other people’s stories, but terrified of singing my own. I was fighting vulnerability for so long and didn’t realize how much pain I was carrying around. My own stories were banging on the door and I couldn’t ignore them any longer.”  Her debut EP, set to release early 2021, shares those stories of learning how to forgive, learning in love, and learning to love herself. This singer/songwriter intends to be here for a long time and aims to inspire listeners with nothing but her vulnerable truth.
