:: Our newest ‘Walk The Line’ is now yours :: Led by Sara Blake, (vocalist/songwriter), and her brother/drummer William Alton. The two cut their teeth playing small clubs throughout their native home in central Virginia before moving to LA. The name was in dedication to their late friend James Sun, who’s life was tragically cut short in 2011. By the time Animal Sun had made the move they had already opening for noteworthy acts such as The Frights. It was in LA where they would meet keyboardist Tyler DeCastro. Their debut album ‘echoes of a dream’ reaching millions plays in just a few months after its release. In tandem with their streaming success, Animal Sun also received support from magazines such as Alt Press and Rock Sound, as well as renowned radio stations such as idobi, iHeart Radio and KROQ. Animal Sun released their sophomore effort July 27th, 2022 titled GENERATION WAITING, which included their hit ‘I’M ALREADY DEAD’ feat. DREAMERS, as well as recently completed a spring tour supporting Kelsy Karter & The Heroines and a fall tour supporting Anarbor. 2023 is gearing up to be the band's biggest year yet with a new album, live shows, and their best collection of songs to date!
