Swedish duo Pomona Dream - a cosmic amalgamation of jazz and pop blended with warm and crafted production. The duo met by coincidence due to a Soundcloud glitch that lead the Gothenburg based producer Ribbs to contact composer Sandra Bang. The conversation following the incident flourished into a full relationship as they discovered they were a perfect match both musically and aesthetically. This harmonious union gave birth to Pomona Dream. Sandra Bang, the daughter of Swedish Jazz musician Håkan Broström, is a classically trained composer with musical inspirations such as Wayne Shorter and Frank Zappa. Lyrically inspired by abstract wordplay, her lush vocals glide into your ears perfectly balanced with nuanced vibes. The distinctive boombap-esque beats by Ribbs sets the backbone of the music as a direct reference to his adolescence and appreciation of Hip-hop culture with heroes such as A Tribe Called Quest and Gang Starr.
