Lola Rae is a Nigerian born singer who rose to fame after being singled out by Simon Cowell on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Since then her career skyrocketed with singles “Biko ft Davido”, “Watch My Ting Go” and “One Time” amounting to more than 10 million views on YouTube collectively. Lola Rae is really passionate about creating change in Africa; she was involved in MultiChoice’s ‘Africa Rising’ alongside other prominent artists, with the song used to promote social investment projects across Africa. Born to a British father, Ghanaian mother and raised in Nigeria; Lola Rae is able to reach and resonate with a wide range of audiences, she has been exposed to a diverse range of cultures throughout her life, which has played an evident role in forming her distinctive sound.
