舵 Diverseddie is a bilingual artist focused on bridging cultures and transcending them into a modern sound. Currently, his music has amassed over 300 million digital streams worldwide. In 2019, Diverseddie began gaining traction from his EP “HBD”, establishing his sound by combining Hip-Hop with Neo-Soul and Alternative R&B genres. His release of “Halo” earned him a spot on Viral 50 - Taiwan, Shisha Lounge, Mandarin Hip Hop Stars, New Era: Asian Hip-Hop, Mandarin Indie Picks, 獨立最前線 playlists and the 流行音乐榜 chart. Since then, all of his succeeding singles in 2020 has landed on the Spotify Chinese Indie Chart and Asian Hip-Hop Playlists. In 2021, Diverseddie began to blend a wider range of genres into his sound, including Lo-Fi, Rock, and Mellow Melodic Rap. The single “PONDER” from the “SOLILOQUY” EP has been featured on Mandarin Hip Hop Stars playlist for over 40 weeks. His successive releases “HOMESICK” and “MIND OVER MATTER” were both featured on the Beats & Rhymes playlist for hottest weekly Hip-Hop releases globally.
