Following the breakup of his band Apes & Androids, singer/songwriter Brian Jacobs began making music under the pseudonym Majestyy. For Jacobs, who has also served as a songwriter and producer for other artists, and has also written scores for television and film, Majestyy presents a far more focused and streamlined project, with the expansive guitar-driven sound of his previous work giving way to minimalist R&B grooves, vintage synthesizers and cleaner, crisper production. The debut EP, Magnetisme Animal, was self-released in 2015.
