CONFUSING PARADISE is a progressive metal band from Dortmund, Germany. The band defines its own style of progressive metal music by using a versatile mixture of different genre elements and dynamics. The songs distinguish through tight and fast riffs combined with ambient clean parts, slap bass lines and experimental groove parts. The songs are completed by haunting and catchy clean vocals and heavy shouts. In late 2018, CONFUSING PARADISE started to work with producer Buster Odeholm from the bands Vildhjarta and Humanity's Last Breath to record their debut album QUALIA. The debut album QUALIA was then independently released in july 2021 after CONFUSING PARADISE released several singles from the album and gained international attention.
