Through her soul stirring performances and transforming compositions, singer-songwriter Latice Crawford has become a favorite in the urban contemporary gospel community. Blessed with a bold, powerful voice that has drawn comparisons to Whitney Houston and Tina Turner, Crawford's cadre of fans have come to know that the unique musical experience the Bronx, New York-native brings stems from a testimony of triumphs and struggles, which she passionately shares in her music. 
 Raised the daughter of a preacher, Crawford spent her early life heavily involved in church, serving as choir director and lead vocalist for local ensembles. 
 Crawford gained national notoriety during her breakout performances on Season 2 of BET's ‘Sunday Best’, where she achieved second runner up. She released her self-titled debut album in 2014, which brought the hit "There". 
 In 2016 she released her self-penned and nakedly autobiographical EP, 'Diary of A Church Girl'. The critically acclaimed project garnered Crawford her first Stellar Award nomination and Billboard chartings for the singles "Author" and “Choose Me". 
 Her commitment to ministry extends well beyond music. As a contributor to the Huffington Post and Essence, she has written on topics to include mental wellness, parenting, race relations, and self-care.
