Deny the Fallen features Rey Parra of Sacred Warrior, and more recently, Worldview fame. Also featured in this lineup is another Sacred Warrior alumni, Jonathan Johnson. Prior to Deny The Fallen, you could find the duo teaming up with Sacred Warrior bandmates collaborating on the 1991 release OBSESSIONS! Parra and Johnson reunited in 2018 for the bands debut album SYMPTOMS OF ETERNITY. As bands do, distance, time, finances and surfaced to create a challenge for this musical juggernaut. 2023 finds the band releasing their sophomore release ECHO CHAMBER (releasing 7/14/23 on Roxx Records). Joining them for this release is Josh Johnson (drums), Jeff Rankin (Rhythm guitars), and Erik Kyr (bassist). What we have here is a really heavy, hard rocking album. We are talking full-speed ahead power and crunch with progressive touches throughout. THE METAL ONSLAUGHT contributor Chad Fenner says "ECHO CHAMBER is not rehashed and repackaged ’80s music. This is fresh, modern, often dramatic, sometimes symphonic, yet still very metal musically. Rey’s vocals are strong as ever, and stunning, and Jon’s guitars are impeccable. The songs are new and fresh but clearly that of seasoned musicians." Deny The Fallen stands out on their own, melding some of that classic power metal feel with some slight modern twists and turns along the way.
