La Perla es un trío percutivo-vocal bogotano, integrado por Karen, Diana y Roberta (Giovanna), inspiradas en las músicas del gran caribe, que a su vez ponen a dialogar con sonoridades propias de la ciudad. La Perla es gaita, porro, chalupa, bullerengue, cumbia, merengue dominicano, champeta y beat box. En septiembre de 2022 salió su primer LP Callejera, grabado en Mambo Negro Records. La Perla is a percussive-vocal trio from Bogota, integrated to Karen, Diana and Roberta (Giovanna), who are inspired by the musics of the Great Caribbean and mix them with sounds of the city. La Perla is gaita, porro, chalupa, bullerengue, cumbia, merengue dominicano, champeta and beat box. In september 2022 his first LP Callejera was released, recorded on Mambo Negro Records. REMEZCLA: "La Perla has made their mark mostly on the live circuit, though they released their first EP earlier this year on Mambo Negro Records. Their reputation as a never-ending party has garnered them a solid fan base, and now they're spreading their gospel beyond their home turf".
