Budapest based Géza Korb’s solo project Rock Band For Old Men started out in 2016 by making demos in Guitar Pro. After a year of work, he finished his debut diy album called Eat Some Snacks & Cry. The album plays with the balance and contrast of good taste and bad taste; incorporating style elements from 80’s pop, bossanova, funk, country ballads, mall music, city pop and hip-hop. Throughout the songs Géza tries to overcome pain, depression, doubt and various insecurities in a genuine, sincere and sometimes fun manner. His debut single with a pretty aesthetic music video, Eat Some Snacks & Cry encourages the listener to embrace pain and sadness of a break up, rather than harm themselves with the usual alcohol + drugs recipe. Also to eat delicious snacks, because eating snacks is important. Uk based Music Crowns said: „The video for ‘Eat Some Snacks & Cry‘ is just as confounding as the accompanying track, being as it’s extremely low-budget, nonsensical, gaudy – and yet completely brilliant.”
