Biyografi

Originally formed as a post rock outfit in 2011, Mari Norden and Oz Page began translating the dreamy qualities of their favourite shoegaze bands into home-made electronic sounds and painful, romantic melodies. 
 The emergent themes of teenage anxiety, heartbreak and hope resonated. SFS tracks have featured in many films and series over the years. 
 From ‘To Bury A Dog’ (2013) and ‘Kometen’ (2017) to ‘Girls’ (2018), SFS songs are often drawn on to express the romance of youth. 
 Following success on international blogs such as Crack in The Road, Line of Best Fit, Nothing But Hope and Passion and Under the Radar, Shy For Shore have been invited to play festivals and concerts in the Netherlands, The U.K, Norway, Estonia and Italy. Their performance at Slottsfjell, in Southern Norway, garnered much Norwegian attention and soon after They were featured in the p3 Urørt final. 
 Soon after, when SFS warmed up for Highasakite at Rockefeller, one of the biggest venues in Norway, the event was sold out. They also played Scandinavia’s biggest industry festival, By: Larm and featured on Dutch radio station 3FM. 
 The duo never stopped making their dreamy, demo-inspired pop.
