    Latin pop outfit Area 305 named after Miami's area code, comprises Cuban singer/percussionist and keyboardist Nelson Cano, Puerto Rican singer/Ricky Ruiz, singer/guitarist Jonathan Fuzessy (born in Toledo, OH) who debuted in Viña del Mar festival with a song called "You Can Change the World," and Cuban singer/bassist Tony Choy. 
 Assembled by composer/producer Rudy Pérez in 2001, Area 305 debuted with a single called Si No Estas ," with contributions from Roberto Livi, and released it through Univision Music Group in association with Rudy Pérez Enterprises (RPE)
