Moon Rocket (real name Raffaele Scoccia), is an Italian Producer/DJ and accomplished Piano and Hammond Organ player. He first moved to New York City in 2011 and he is currently based in Miami. His skills behind the Piano and Hammond Organ are extraordinary as is his natural ability as a DJ behind the decks. He started studying music at an early age with the legendary and eminent composer/pianist Luis Bacalov (Academy Award Winner for the Soundtrack of “The Postman” movie) with whom he continued to study classical piano and also started to study harmony and composition. In New York he met the Master Producer and DJ Bobby D’Ambrosio and he worked in his studio on several productions of him. His releases have reached the number 1 hits on Traxsource several times, from the latest massive hit “Reciprocity” , “Arpoador” Rmx. “Fascinated By You” , the afro track “Gafara” in collaboration with Moblack heavily supported by Black Coffee, “Rewinding” with Sandy Rivera and Mattei & Omich, “Main Piano”, “From Disco To Disco”, with Angelo Ferreri to name a few. He has been also delivering a magical Live Show in many of the world’s most important venues as a DJ and live keyboard player.
