Steny is a cooperation of two Guys from Switzerland and South Africa. Even in spite of the distance between these two talented artists, Stefan and Michel are still very much dedicated to making music together. Being in two different country has never been in the way of Steny’s amazing production values and the pair’s music keeps receiving excellent and enthusiastic responses from fans and industry insiders alike. Recently, the duo’s tracks have been supported by established DJs including Lost Frequencies, Morgan Page, Lucas & Steve, EDX, and many more. Steny is as passionate as ever about the music industry and it is not just a studio project: Stefan is very much into the idea of performing and still working as a DJ, bringing his music out to the audience in a very special way. The sound of Steny’s tracks is particularly distinctive. The first thing you’ll notice is certainly the high production quality in terms of sonic aesthetics. Each Song released under the Steny brand is balanced and direct with a really deep low end and a crunchy mid-range that adds a lot of excitement to the track. In addition to that the treble range is smooth and bright adding a lot of silky edge to the mix and allowing the vocals to really pop to the forefront of the mix. These tracks blur the lines between different electronic music styles, while retaining a strong, powerful and compelling original sound with a lot of personality.
