Jamie is the South Korean sensation, who at 13 years old wowed South Korea as she competed in, and ultimately won, the first series of K-Pop Star in 2011. In 2012 she debuted as one half of JYP Entertainment’s 15&. Throughout her teenage years, Jamie was known by the general public as the ‘Korean Adele’, famous for her powerful high notes. 2016 saw the beginnings of Jamie’s solo career with her first solo EP 19to20 which combined sweet, heartfelt pop and slow, sensuous jams. In 2018, Jamie released jamiexjimin, which she co-wrote with Nathan and featured her crew, M.O.L.A, which includes WOODZ, KINO, Vernon, and Hoho. Breezy, womanly and feisty, jamiexjimin fearlessly captured her chameleonic abilities as a singer. In April 2020, Jamie signed with Warner Music Korea, making her the first local K-pop artist to the sign to the major label.
